REES Africa Screens ATUPA Documentary and Dialogued the SDG’s

On the 23rd of November, 2019 REES Africa convened a programme championing the ATUPA documentary screening and had a dialogue about the Sustainable Development Goals at the American Corner , Co-Creation Hub, Yaba, Lagos Nigeria.

To commence the programme, the second stanza of the National Anthem was recited and the Welcome address was rendered by the project coordinator, Mr Ayorinde E. Subsequently Ms Chimuanya Anne coordinated a panel dialogue session with representatives from SustyVibes, the StreamTribe, Green Initiative which lasted for a period of thirty-five minutes. Ms Atinuke Alabi gave insight on the ATUPA project, the very presence of energy poverty in Nigerian households and how the #LightUpSagbokodji project was carried out. After the brief expose by Ms Atinuke Alabi, the ATUPA movie was screened for forty-two minutes.

To round off, Mr Ayorinde E. & Mr Temitope A., entertained questions, criticisms and recommendations which included more collaborations to light up more areas. The audience was briefed on the forthcoming light up Kargako(Kaduna state) project.
